To set up a Disqus profile go to the Disqus website and sign up.
Step 1:
Once you have gone through the sign up process click on settings (blue cog) on the top right hand side of the browser. A drop down menu will appear.
Click on Add Disqus To Site: See below.
Step 2:
A new window will open. Click on Start Using Engage: See below.
Step 3:
On this page, you'll see an option to Choose Your Unique Disqus URL. This is the same as the "Disqus username" we're looking for in your Smart Little Web settings. You can enter whatever you want here, it won't impact your site in any way.
Once you've created this URL / Sitename, click the Finish Registration button.
This opens up a page called "Choose Your Platform", but you can ignore this page since Smart Little Web (unlike the other services shown on this page) takes care of all the setup work automatically. You simply need to take the shortname you created above and paste it into the "Disqus Username" field in your Smart Little Web Blog Settings.
